On Monday, 20th Feb 2006 our guest speaker will be Dr Lau Kean Wah who will be sharing with us an interesting talk on the prevention & treatment of Coronary Artery Disease. With all that the culinary world has to offer and the fact that Singapore is perhaps one of the mecca for international cusine, we look forward to some sound advise that we can use and perhaps a healthier lifestyle.

On Wednesday 15 Feb 2005, I will give a
vocational talk at the Rotary Club of Singapore:
Is Open Source Software For You?
The term OpenSource software is heard
quite often today, even outside the IT world it is mentioned. The talk
will give an introduction what OpenSource software is, how it came to be,
who are the drivers behind the OpenSource community. Furthermore
the talk will introduce popular OpenSource applications and briefly compare
them to their commercial counterparts. The focus will be on individual
applications for Microsoft Windows rather than Linux or Enterprise Software.
If you are free for lunch join me:

at 1.00pm

Kindly note that this Monday's meeting would be cancelled in lieu of our PP KC's son's wedding on Valentine Day.
As most of us would be attending this function, the club would be holding an informal fellowship at the Wedding.
PP KC and Ann Jessie, a big Congratulations from ALL of us!
